I’ve carried a p238, a p365, a p365xl, a G43 and a sub compact xd and was never completely comfortable. I’m 5’9” and 165lbs and this thing doesn’t print at all while iwb appendix carrying. Even while driving or sitting down/bending over it’s comfortable. The shape is far more comfortable than any semi automatic I’ve tried. The weight is unnoticeable even loaded and in a bianchi leather holster. With 130g 38s it’s like any other jframe but with 180 357 hard cast it’s rowdy. I try to get everybody to try it and the general consensus is that it’s manageable but unpleasant with 180g. I don’t see myself carrying any other gun until someone comes out with a scandium semi automatic

This S&W 342PD revolver is one of my “Bucket List Guns”. I’ve been waiting a long time for it to be in stock, so when I saw it in stock, I jumped on it… So lucky!
Haven’t had a chance to fire it yet, but I am sure it’s gonna hurt! This beautiful little revolver is extremely lightweight, only 11 ounces!
Now I’m waiting to add its big brother (S&W M327 Performance Center revolver) to my collection.

The 340PD is an amazing little revolver! Well built!! Shoots great with 38’s, haven’t tried the 357 yet but I’m sure it’ll have some recoil! It’s lighter than my Ruger LCR! Recommend to anyone looking for a quality little revolver to carry! Buds shipped quick!

This is the second 340PD that I currently own. It is so light that I don’t feel any weight at all when carried in a pocket (pants or jacket) and just as well IWB. I only shoot Winchester 38 148 gr Super X wadcutters in these guns since they are so light. The 148 gr WC is controllable, accurate, and the penetration tests indicate more than sufficient depth. Said to be used by some LEOs. Practice is a must. Ten yard performance is good. No wire brush or ammonia for these—oil and a patch only. They clean up pretty easy.

Fantastic J Frame. It is literally a work of art. The coating used is FLAWLESS. It’s so soft and perfect that it feels like velvet. Buds was great. They emailed me to let me know the status of my order several times. Couldn’t be happier.

I love this gun, a lot of power in .357 mag and shockingly lightweight. I bought it about 2 years ago as an all-around concealed carry for myself and maybe the wife. The trigger pull is kind of heavy for her (she needs two fingers…) but it works fine for me. I called S&W and they will do a trigger job on it for a little over $100, but I’m not willing to part with it for that long (several weeks between shipping and the turnaround at their facility). I use short-barrel optimized .357 Mag rounds with it, which are not painful to shoot and are pretty manageable. I regularly go jogging, hiking, and biking here on ranches near the border in South Texas and carry it in a pocket, without any discomfort. It’s the most useful gun that I have ever owned.

Gun arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with it. Amazingly light and a real handful with 357 Mag. Not a complaint since I knew this already. Carrys well.
