Beyond happy with my new P22Q
Just got back from my 1st range session with my bought yesterday FDE P22Q, and am extremely happy with it. Took it apart, cleaned and lubed it. 1st two magazines, 19 rounds of CCI MiniMag 40 RN. Perfect function, and the sights were right on at 7 yards. 2nd two mags, 19 rounds of CCI MiniMag 36 HP. Again, perfect function and hit same place at 7 yard as the 40s. Next 4mags, 19 rounds of Federal Automatch 40 RN and 19 of Federal 36 grain HP. During these eight magazines, I took time out from shooting paper occasionally to do some double action and rapid fire. After these 76 rounds I again took it apart, cleaned and lubed it. Now down to the load I intend to carry in it for normal use, CCI MiniMag Meateater 36 grain HPs. Four magazines, 38 rounds of various double and single action, one hand, two hand, weak hand, rapid fire, and careful aim at 7 yards. This little beauty never faltered. So after 12 magazine loads, 114 rounds, it has worked great, not a hint of a problem. Comfortable in my hand with the grip adapter that came installed. I’m almost disappointed I didn’t have to do any sight adjustment, front or rear. May end up needing to do it as I start shooting it at longer ranges, but I don’t think I’ll be doing much past 10 yards with this little guy. That’s work for my S&W Victory. Glad I got this P99Q instead of holding out for the Ruger SR22 as was my original intention. The last two Rugers I bought have both had to go back to the factory to be made right, one twice. Their QC lately is the pits. I guess the jury is out as to how well the non-steel slide will hold up over time, but so far I’m a delighted purchaser. The improvements in the grip and recoil spring over the original P22 make this Q version, at least mine, a dream to shoot, and disassemble/reassemble.

Great dependable pistol !!!
Bought this about 3 weeks ago, cleaned it and oiled it before going to the range. Very easy to take down and clean and reassemble ! Last week I took it to the range and ran 300 rounds of Aquilla high velocity bulk ammo thru it with no problems at all !! This week I went again and ran 300 rounds of Remington Thunderbolt bulk ammo and 50 rounds of CCI stingers thru it with no failures at all !! Very dependable and accurate !!! I would not have any problem carrying this instead of my 1911 .45 its a lot lighter and smaller. It also has a life time warranty !!

Bought it this morning and took it to the range. At 15 yards it was hitting where it was supposed to. Used cci mini mags and Norma x tac. My 11 year old daughter shot it as well as my girlfriend. We all 3 enjoyed it.

Picked this up a couple months ago and I really love this gun. My one and only complaint is the mag release. Very awkward to reach – especially with my gorilla hands. Other than that, it’s near perfect!

Best .22LR semi auto I have owned
Bought this 3 month as ago. I have shot 525 rounds though it and only one failure to feed. Zero missed primer strokes and zero ammo duds. Winchester Wildcat was the most accurate of the 4 ammos I tested it with. There were several rounds that cut paper…it was that accurate. Loved it so much I bought two more magazines. Great gun with no flaws from the P22Q I own. Get you one and fall in love with it!

Fun gun to shoot
Great shooting pistol. Bought this for my 8 year old son to learn to shoot with and had a fun time at the shooter range. But I will say this gun does not like the Federal 40 grain auto match ammo. It jammed constantly. Just about every shot it jammed or wouldn’t feed. But when I switched over to cci mini mag bullets it ran them flawlessly. My son and I had a great time after that.
