Great Rifle. Just recently bought this during Ruger $100 discount Hot Deal at Academy and I'm glad I did. This is one accurate rifle at 50 - 100 yds with my cheap 3-9x30 scope! I'll dress it up a little bit with a better scope and bipod and back up to 150-200 yds. I've used Federal 40 gr RN and Win 36 gr HP's with no issues. I've owned Marlin, Savage and Ruger's in the past and this new Ruger Precision Rimfire outperforms them all! Thanks Academy!

Very fun 22 I am really enjoying this rifle. Mounted up Arken 6x24x50 and a bipod. Rifle exceeds mo capability at this point. Might have to buy some high price stuff to eliminate flyers.

Accuracy is terrible with a wide selection of ammo (erratic 2-3" groups at 50 yards). Stock adjustment is limiting in term of comb height and rearward movement. Bolt required a bit of polishing work to become smooth.

Great rifle great price. WestCost Security One of the best presision refles I own. You can't go wrong. The ruger precision 22 is the same platform as other ruger precision bolt action rifles, with the 22 you can practice on the cheap.
